[31.] The Lost Princesses of Kensington Palace

Hello dear readers (^-^)!
Firstly, I'm so sorry for not keeping up this blog.
This will all change, right now!

At the moment, I don't have the opportunity to wear lolita very often.
I'm super busy and stressed at work every day,
so at the weekend I prefer to relax!
I do have some things coming up though.

In this post, I'd like to talk about a little meet-up,
with my London friends in January!
(Late, I know... Sorry!)

The Lost Princesses of Kensington Palace

It was a rainy and very cold morning of the 12th of January.
I was taking the coach to London to see my lovely friends!
The plan was to have Afternoon Tea at Kensington Palace.

The theme of our meet up was "Classic Lolita",
so I wore my new La danse de la dame JSK by Juliette et Justine.

The afternoon tea was so amazing!
We each got an individual tray...

Sandwiches, scones & sweet desserts
Who can say no to that?! Not me...

My beautiful friends Mel & Memz!
Sadly we didn't manage to take a group picture,
because we were chatting so much that it was dark when we left!

Here's my outfit!

Veil - Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
Wig - Mermaid Beachy by Lockshop
Jacket - Bebe
Jumperskirt - Juliette et Justine
Overknee Socks - eBay
Shoes - Vivienne Westwood x Melissa

After it went dark, we decided to take a trip to London's China Town!
I can't imagine going to China Town without taking purikura,
so obviously that's what we did!

Nice, crazy, imaginary burgers & derp, we're falling off the seats!

Awww, we all love classic so much <3

It was such a lovely outing, missing all my friends already!

Well, that's it for today...
I have another post planned for Easter, so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading,

[28.] Tea Party Club 5th Anniversary with Juliette et Justine

Good evening my dear readers (^-^)!

On the 8th of September, already exactly a month ago,
I headed to London to attend the lavish Juliette et Justine Tea Party.

To celebrate the Tea Party Club's 5th Anniversary,
Kyra (my former London housemate) managed to
host and organise an amazing event, held in the Charing Cross Hotel!

Special guests came to London, straight from Japan!

~•*Mari Nakamura*•~
Head designer of Juliette et Justine

~•*Mariko Suzuki*•~
Editor of The Gothic & Lolita Bible magazine
Former editor of KERA Maniax magazine

~•*Akira Tanaka*•~
Hair & make-up artist from Tony's Collection INC.

 ~•*Koitsukihime*•~
Japanese doll artist

The day started with early entry for VIPs (me).
We were allowed to browse around early and start buying things!
However, I was good and didn't buy anything until the end!

There were various different stalls on one side of the room
and the whole other side was packed with the most beautiful
Juliette et Justine dresses, skirts, blouses and accessories.

We had about half an hour before they let in people with
general admission tickets. After everyone had some browsing time,
we got called into a different room as the Q&A Panel was about to start!

From left to right: Akira Tanaka, Mariko Suzuki, Mari Nakamura & Koitsukihime

How cute is Mari Nakamura? Such a sweet smile!
I remember one question being asked by the panel to the public.
"How long did it take you to get ready this morning?"
Answers ranged from 48 hours(!) to 10 minutes!
For me, I think it took about 30 minutes, because
I already prepared what to wear the evening before :3

After the Q&A panel, there was a mini-raffle and then we got some
free time for lunch. There was also an option to go on a scavenger hunt,
but I was too hungry :3

Once we got back from lunch, the fashion show started!
My fellow blogger & friend Florrie took some amazing photos.
Mine turned out awful, so please look at hers!

Then we had a little bit of free time again,
while the organisers were busy preparing the main-raffle.
I took this opportunity to spend some £££ ^-^!

I bought this beautiful JSK from Juliette et Justine.
It's called "La danse de la dame".

And I also bought this beautiful key hair clip from Now Voyager!
Felicity always finds the most amazing things, you should check out her shop!

After I had finished spending all my £££ we got called to a different room.
Mari Nakamura and Mariko Suzuki were taking photos of us
and taking our questionnaire that we had to fill out. Then they told me
I looked beautiful and they gave me an autograph (*__*)!

Once I recovered from being star struck main-raffle was starting, yay!
I won a beautiful chocolate coloured bow from Juliette et Justine themselves!

When the main-raffle finished we witnessed a beautiful wedding proposal!
Not a single eye in the room stayed dry!
A massive congratulations to Kyra & Dom <3

After we dried our tears we took a massive group picture.
You can't see me in it properly as I'm in the very back...
You can see my hair accessories, so I'm going to count myself in!
I'm at the left yellow curtain, look for a little green & red spot of hair accessory XD

[16]. Selections from my lolita wardrobe...

Hello my dear readers ^-^!
I thought it might be nice to showcase my lolita wardrobe.
In this post I'll show my skirts & dresses!

~*Alice and The Pirates*~

Name: "Relief Print" OP.
Released in: 2009.

This beautiful piece was acquired in a partial trade for
my Baby, the Stars Shine Bright "Tulip Bouquet" JSK.
I couldn't believe how beautiful it was when I first opened the parcel!
The little angels on the print are so adorable.

~*Angelic Pretty*~

Name: "Strawberry Mille-Feuille" Skirt.
Released in: 2007.

When I first got to know about this print, it became my first real "dream print".
I've loved it so much ever since I got it!
It can be worn casually (as I do quite a lot lately)
or in a regular way or very OTT.
Love it <3

Name: "Colorful Drop" JSK.
Released in: 2008.

I bought this dress from my friend Alexandria in the Bahamas!
I've talked about her in my Foreign Lolita series ^-^!<3
I bought it off her to help her financially after being burgled
and I really wanted a new dress for the Tea Party Club 4th anniversary!
So it felt extra good buying this, as I was helping someone else in a way :3
Win/Win!

Name: "Rose Princess Doll" JSK.
Released in: 2008.

I first saw this dress in a magazine scan from KERA.
I fell in love with it straight away, the hime style is so beautiful.
For now, I don't think I've done this dress justice,
but I hope to come up with something good at some point soon!

~*Emily Temple cute*~

Name: Unknown.
Released in: Unknown.

I bought this skirt at Hyper Japan in 2011!
It only cost me £20! Bargain ^-^!
I was actually working at Hyper Japan then,
manning the Bring & Buy stall!
It was a lot of fun and extremely busy!

 Name: Unknown.
Released in: Unknown.

I bought this dress from Alice Fururun.
Looking at this dress just makes me sad these days.
I had an accident with the washing machine...
The light pink in the dress used to be WHITE!
I think it still looks wearable though...
Just not as pretty as before!

Name: "Wonderland Velveteen Ribbon" Sleeveless OP
Released in: Unknown.

I got this dress in a trade with my former housemate!
We liked each others dresses so we thought:
"why not trade?"
Such a simple way to get "new" things,
without spending any money on it ^-^!

~*Juliette et Justine*~

Name: Unknown.
Released in: Unknown.

This is my newest OP! I guess you can all see it now :3
I wanted it to be a massive secret for the JetJ tea party in London,
but oh well... I can't keep silent, lol!

I love all the beautiful flowers and the black background should
make it easier for me to coordinate it somehow, hopefully!
It's very long, even on me it's below the knee D:
I'm 174cm tall, in case you're wondering ^-^!

I bought this from my amazing friend Sonia in America!
Love you forever <3

~*Moi-même-Moitié*~

Name: "Chandelier" Skirt.
Released in: 2007.

I finally managed to obtain this skirt after trading and
originally owning the black x blue version.
I love this skirt, it's so versatile!
I recently wore it in a Cult Party Kei x Lolita outfit
for the fashion show in Brighton ^-^!

 Name: "Silky Rose" OP.
Released in: 2009.

My favourite dress ever <3
One day I'd love to own the blue x white version too!
I bought this one for myself a birthday present in 2009.

Name: "Snow Cut Shirring Sun Dress".
Released in: 2007.

This is such a lovely and casual dress.
I managed to get away with wearing it to work on several occasions!
It's very light and it has tiny polkadots all over it!

~*Victorian Maiden*~

Name: Unknown.
Released in: Unknown.

I've bought this beautiful piece from Closet Child.
Just like Alice Fururun, they sell second hand lolita clothing.
I try not to look on those websites right now as I need to save money :3
I love this dress so much, I had it altered to fit me properly ^-^!
It's also a very long JSK, so this is also below the knee on me!

Well, that's it ^-^!
All the current dresses from my lolita wardrobe!
If anyone has any information on the "unknown" dresses,
I'd love to know more about them, please let me know!

Thank you & I hope you're having a nice day!
