[38.] ☆ Innocent World Tea Party ☆

Hello dear readers (^-^)
Better late than never, right?

Today I want to tell you about my time at the Innocent World Tea Party in Vienna, Austria.
I stayed at my dear friend Mimi's house for about a week.
It was my last holiday from work for the whole year (;____;)
So, I thought I might as well make the most of it!

Mimi was a great hostess, as always, and she took me & the bf to see loads of things.
Firstly we went to the Naschmarkt, a big market full of sweets & foods.

Naschmarkt - look at all the deliciousness

After visiting the Naschmarkt in the morning, we spent our afternoon at the Zoo!
Tiergarten Schönbrunn is apparently the best zoo in Europe.
And OMG, it was beautiful!

This panda was such a prick, he didn't wanna turn around!

During my stay I have eaten many great things, for example:
Goat's cheese ice cream, several buffets and amazing sushi!
Of course there are many food pictures, but I'll leave them for now....

I'm sure if you're reading this, you must be more interested in the:

☆ Innocent World Tea Party ☆

It was a really awesome day!
Super well organised & even the weather was good!
I wonder how they got the weather to play along...

I had a Super VIP Ticket, which meant that I got early entry,
a goodie bag and we were greeted with a glass of champagne!

There were many stalls and a huge buffet.
After the buffet was opened, the fashion show started.
It was beautiful to watch and the models did the routine really well!
Even the hotel staff was looking at the fashion show and taking photos, haha!

Delicious buffet things <3 nom nom nom

My fashion show pictures turned out rubbish, so none of them here... Sorry!

After the fashion show, we had some browsing time and you could make use of
the professional photographer who had been hired for the whole day.

Lolita KompleX did an unplugged live set, which was awesome!
The previous night, I had seen them live with Mimi, which was so much fun <3

Before the Q&A with Yumi Fujiwara, the Innocent World designer, I managed
to grab a picture with her together. She is such a sweet & gentile person!
I'm very happy I met her.

After the Q&A, there was a raffle and I got super lucky!
I won an Innocent World bonnet D:

With the raffle over, it was time to announce the outfit contest winners.
Yumi Fujiwara handpicked the 3 girls who she taught represented Innocent World the best.
Congrats if you were one of the winners!

[28.] Tea Party Club 5th Anniversary with Juliette et Justine

Good evening my dear readers (^-^)!

On the 8th of September, already exactly a month ago,
I headed to London to attend the lavish Juliette et Justine Tea Party.

To celebrate the Tea Party Club's 5th Anniversary,
Kyra (my former London housemate) managed to
host and organise an amazing event, held in the Charing Cross Hotel!

Special guests came to London, straight from Japan!

~•*Mari Nakamura*•~
Head designer of Juliette et Justine

~•*Mariko Suzuki*•~
Editor of The Gothic & Lolita Bible magazine
Former editor of KERA Maniax magazine

~•*Akira Tanaka*•~
Hair & make-up artist from Tony's Collection INC.

 ~•*Koitsukihime*•~
Japanese doll artist

The day started with early entry for VIPs (me).
We were allowed to browse around early and start buying things!
However, I was good and didn't buy anything until the end!

There were various different stalls on one side of the room
and the whole other side was packed with the most beautiful
Juliette et Justine dresses, skirts, blouses and accessories.

We had about half an hour before they let in people with
general admission tickets. After everyone had some browsing time,
we got called into a different room as the Q&A Panel was about to start!

From left to right: Akira Tanaka, Mariko Suzuki, Mari Nakamura & Koitsukihime

How cute is Mari Nakamura? Such a sweet smile!
I remember one question being asked by the panel to the public.
"How long did it take you to get ready this morning?"
Answers ranged from 48 hours(!) to 10 minutes!
For me, I think it took about 30 minutes, because
I already prepared what to wear the evening before :3

After the Q&A panel, there was a mini-raffle and then we got some
free time for lunch. There was also an option to go on a scavenger hunt,
but I was too hungry :3

Once we got back from lunch, the fashion show started!
My fellow blogger & friend Florrie took some amazing photos.
Mine turned out awful, so please look at hers!

Then we had a little bit of free time again,
while the organisers were busy preparing the main-raffle.
I took this opportunity to spend some £££ ^-^!

I bought this beautiful JSK from Juliette et Justine.
It's called "La danse de la dame".

And I also bought this beautiful key hair clip from Now Voyager!
Felicity always finds the most amazing things, you should check out her shop!

After I had finished spending all my £££ we got called to a different room.
Mari Nakamura and Mariko Suzuki were taking photos of us
and taking our questionnaire that we had to fill out. Then they told me
I looked beautiful and they gave me an autograph (*__*)!

Once I recovered from being star struck main-raffle was starting, yay!
I won a beautiful chocolate coloured bow from Juliette et Justine themselves!

When the main-raffle finished we witnessed a beautiful wedding proposal!
Not a single eye in the room stayed dry!
A massive congratulations to Kyra & Dom <3

After we dried our tears we took a massive group picture.
You can't see me in it properly as I'm in the very back...
You can see my hair accessories, so I'm going to count myself in!
I'm at the left yellow curtain, look for a little green & red spot of hair accessory XD

[8.] Brighton Japan Festival 2012

Good afternoon, readers ^-^!

Yesterday I didn't have time to write an entry,
as I was in Brighton all day for

Brighton Japan Festival

I had to get up at 6am, so I would be in Brighton for 12 noon.
It was such a long journey, but definitely worth it as I got to see my friends.

Brighton Japan Festival is an annual event that first started in 2008.
It has become the largest annual Japanese cultural festival in the United Kingdom.
It was my first time there, so I was really excited!

Yesterday's event was called "Asahi Anime Festival".
This is part of the Street Festivals, so it was outside!
Now we've all heard of the phenomenon "British Summer"...
But it was ACTUALLY sunny all day!
So lucky  ^-^!

I was there to model in the "Japanese Street Fashion Show"!
My friend Memz was showcasing her sculptures in the fashion show.
She's an amazing artist and you can follow her work at:

Memz was also my model partner, as we all walked up in pairs!
Here are some photos of us!

Memz and I on stage, showcasing her Cult Party Kei sculpture!

In the end, I left Brighton at 6pm and
was back home at around 11pm and super tired.
Totally amazing day, though!

Thank you for reading,
For more photos, have a look at the Brighton Japan website!
More "Foreign Lolitas" entries are coming up, too ^-^!
