[34.] Uniqlo x Ladurée

Hello dear readers (^-^)!
A lot of good things have been happening,
so I'm finding it a little hard to blog!

I've just moved to a new house with my amazing boyfriend
We finally have wifi since this week, so I have some catching up to do!

Today, I want to tell you about my recent purchases.

I recently heard that Uniqlo was doing a collaboration with Ladurée.
I normally miss out on all the cool Uniqlo collaborations, because
either I don't have any money or I just don't know about them until it's too late!
NOT THIS TIME! CAN NOT MISS OUT ON LADURÉE!

So, I've sent my friend Wing shopping for me in London,
because there is sadly no Uniqlo store in my city...
Thank you Wing, you're the best!

I got 3 lovely T-Shirts.

The writing is in gold glittery letters <3

ALL THE MACARONS <3

ALL THE MACARONS AGAIN <3

Wheeee~ They are so cute and look much better in real life!
With that in mind, I wanted to wear one of them today.
I have been very ill over the last week so all I was wearing was sweatpants :/

Now that I'm starting to feel better, I wanted to look better as well :3
This is what I've created and how I look today!

Bit blurry? :/

~•* Outfit *•~

Headbow - Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
T-Shirt - Uniqlo x Ladurée

Ladurée draws it's inspiration from elegance and refinement,
nostalgia and modernity, the beautiful and the tasteful.
Ladurée speaks to our senses between pleasure and tenderness
and fullfills all our cravings.

Yes. You do, Ladurée

[33.] A Day in Utrecht with my Dutchies

Hello, my dears!
Hope you're well <3

I've completely forgotten that I went on holiday :3
It was a while ago, but as you can tell by my archive,
I didn't have much motivation to write anything!

28/01/2013
Utrecht, The Netherlands
(Shamefully late post, I know)

Utrecht - Such a beautiful city!

After a drive of an hour and a half, I eventually made it to Utrecht.
After getting lost a few times, trying to find a parking spot...
Damn roadworks everywhere...!

I met up with my lovely friends Marloes & Damiën for the day.
It was so much fun! We went to the Cathedral of Saint Martin,
or as it is lovingly known by the locals: De Domtoren!

It's THE symbol of Utrecht.
The Cathedral tower is 112 meters high and
it is the highest tower from the Middle Ages in The Netherlands.
It's also over 600 years old!

De Domtoren

After walking around the Cathedral & looking at the beautiful stained glass,
we got a bit peckish and decided to have some tea & cake (obviously)!
The Cathedral had a little tea room which was surprisingly nice.
It looked out into the gardens where we went later on.

Traditional "Domkoek" on the left + a biscuit & Cinnamon tea <3

After lunch, we ventured out into the cold to see the gardens!
We couldn't help taking pictures as it's such a lovely place :3

It looks like Marloes is floating haha, no legs!

The 3 of us managed to squeeze into one picture :3

Damiën & I

We didn't take any single pictures because we were freezing to death,
so I'm going to write my Outfit Rundown below!

~•* Outfit *•~

Hat - Gift from a lady who bought it in 1943
Rose Clip - H&M
Faux-fur Stole - H&M
Blouse - Primark
JSK - Emily Temple cute
Tights - Primark
Shoes - Primark
Bag - muchacha achachumu

After visiting the Cathedral, it was nearly time to go home already.
However, we couldn't resist getting some Bubble Tea first!
Damiën is a total addict, it was his second one that day already!

Bubble Tea - Mine had a cute monkey on it!

Managed to get my tea fix as well, haha!
I always get my tea in a shop called Xenos.
One packet of 10 tea bags only cost about €0,50!
I do love a good bargain, haha :3

My tea tower - Melon, Oriental, Apple & Cinnamon, Vanilla, Raspberry, Cherry & Cranberry!

Then it was sadly time to hit the road again!

I had a really great day and I'd like to
thank Damiën & Marloes for making time for me.

Thanks guys, I love you <3

I'll leave you with a picture of me in the car, lol!

Bye bye, back to the freezing north of The Netherlands!
(the hat is from Juicy Couture)

Thanks for reading <3
See you soon!

[32.] Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone (^-^)
Hope you all had a lovely time!

I've spent Easter with my boyfriend's family,
as all of my family lives abroad.
I had a great time!

We arrived at 10 o'clock on Easter Sunday for breakfast.
This wasn't just any breakfast, but a traditional Polish Easter breakfast!

~•* Here is some foodporn for your enjoyment *•~

ALL THE FOOD

Barszcz Biały - traditional Easter soup

A selection of ham

Fresh herring

Sałatka - a vegetable salad

Filled eggs with mayonnaise

Kabanas - a type of Polish sausage

Galaretka - chicken & vegetables jelly stuff

Well it's needless to say, after all that, I was pretty stuffed!
I absolutely love Polish cuisine, it's very similar to the food I grew up with.
Plus it helps that my boyfriend's parents are amazing chefs <3

You'd think this would be all the food you can eat for breakfast...
WRONG! Not in a Polish house. Eating kind of never stops.
But hey! You don't hear me complaining ;)

A selection of delicious cakes

MOAR CAKE - this cheesecake was amazing!

Of course, because I hadn't worn lolita properly since January,
I took this opportunity to wear something nice...

Here's my Easter outfit & greetings!

Happy Easter to all my Dutch readers <3

I'm a bunny...

~•* Outfit *•~

Bunny Ears - Supermarket
Rose Wreath - Primark
Blouse - New Look
JSK - Angelic Pretty
Tights - Accessorize
Shoes - Vivienne Westwood x Melissa

For the first time in ages, I've used my natural hair...
I still think it doesn't go very well with lolita,
and I should just keep wearing a wig!

I've only just noticed how horribly short this dress is on me D:
Does anyone know where to get an underskirt?
Maybe I should just sell it (;_____;)
Opinions?

Hope you all had a lovely Easter!
Thanks for reading (^-^)..

[31.] The Lost Princesses of Kensington Palace

Hello dear readers (^-^)!
Firstly, I'm so sorry for not keeping up this blog.
This will all change, right now!

At the moment, I don't have the opportunity to wear lolita very often.
I'm super busy and stressed at work every day,
so at the weekend I prefer to relax!
I do have some things coming up though.

In this post, I'd like to talk about a little meet-up,
with my London friends in January!
(Late, I know... Sorry!)

The Lost Princesses of Kensington Palace

It was a rainy and very cold morning of the 12th of January.
I was taking the coach to London to see my lovely friends!
The plan was to have Afternoon Tea at Kensington Palace.

The theme of our meet up was "Classic Lolita",
so I wore my new La danse de la dame JSK by Juliette et Justine.

The afternoon tea was so amazing!
We each got an individual tray...

Sandwiches, scones & sweet desserts
Who can say no to that?! Not me...

My beautiful friends Mel & Memz!
Sadly we didn't manage to take a group picture,
because we were chatting so much that it was dark when we left!

Here's my outfit!

Veil - Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
Wig - Mermaid Beachy by Lockshop
Jacket - Bebe
Jumperskirt - Juliette et Justine
Overknee Socks - eBay
Shoes - Vivienne Westwood x Melissa

After it went dark, we decided to take a trip to London's China Town!
I can't imagine going to China Town without taking purikura,
so obviously that's what we did!

Nice, crazy, imaginary burgers & derp, we're falling off the seats!

Awww, we all love classic so much <3

It was such a lovely outing, missing all my friends already!

Well, that's it for today...
I have another post planned for Easter, so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading,

x Chrissii x

[30.] A belated Merry Christmas & a happy 2013!

Hello everyone (^___^)!
I'm wishing you all a belated "Merry Christmas!"
And a happy last day of 2012!
Ok, you can have an amazing 2013 too ;)

I hope you had a nice time with your family and loved ones :)
A few days before Christmas, my mum and my brother flew over to visit me.
It was lovely to have them over, especially as I hadn't
seen my mum for about 6 months!

Christmas itself, I celebrated with my boyfriend on the 24th.
It's German and Polish tradition to celebrate and do the presents on Christmas Eve.
For this day, we wore matching Christmas jumpers, haha XD

Christmas Dinner was delicious!
My boyfriend should really enter Masterchef, haha!

Barszcz
(beetroot soup)
4-Bird Roast with potatoes, carrots, broccoli,
parsnips & sprouts
Apple Crumble

After dinner, we've opened our presents!
I got super spoiled this year!
My boyfriend bought me a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2,
from which I'm writing this entry :D

Christmas Day was spent at a friends house
And I dressed up for the ooccasion ;)

Merry Christmas & a happy new year
from your Crimbo Bimbo

[29.] Tea Time with the Bristolian ladies

Good evening, dear readers (^-^)!

On Saturday the 3rd of November, I went to have afternoon tea
with the local ladies of the Bristolian lands!

My housemate Hayley and I walked to the venue together.
It's so funny how English people always try not to look at you,
even though it's quite obvious that they can't help themselves XD
Oh well, Hayley & I love shocking the locals and the tourists so it's fiiiine :3

We met up at Boston Tea Party, not far from our house.
They had reserved a table for us especially.
Naturally I ordered an 'Afternoon Tea' and shared it with Hayley,
and I chose Yunnan Rose tea as my actual drinking tea!

Hmmm 'Afternoon Tea'

Caaaake :3

Super delicious scone with clotted cream & jam <3

Yunnan Rose tea with real rosebuds in it!

Soooo tasty! It was a bit too much, though!
I wrapped up the brownies in my napkin and took them home, haha ;)

Just remembered there was a slight dilemma with the tea spoons.
Hayley is portraying this wonderfully in the following photos:

Hayley: "Where are the spoons?!" Me: "There are no spoons!" Hayley: *sulk*

Jenny also took some photos (much better than my phone can),
so here is a delightful picture of me scoffing cake...
Oh well, I'm always eating :3

"OMG DELICIOUS SAMMICH"

Sometimes slightly less elegant, but at least I'm having fun?!

After the delicious meal, some of us decided to go for a walk.
We found this beautiful park that I didn't even know existed!
So beautiful, argh! I wish I took some more photos (>_<)"!

We managed to take a little incomplete, blurry group photo with the self-timer :3
I'm wearing my Angelic Pretty 'Dreaming Macaron' JSK,
which I received in the post on that actual morning!

Katherine, Gina, Jenny, Hannah & I ^-^! I'm not actually that small!

Here's an outfit shot of the day that the beautiful Jenny took!

Meeeeeee :3 - I really love this picture <3 Thanks, Jenny!

~•* Outfit *•~

Headbow - Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
Wig - Lockshop
Blouse - Bodyline
Halterneck JSK - Angelic Pretty

Thank you all for reading,
I will get back to your comments ASAP, I promise!

How has your weekend been?
I'm back at work again now, boo!

[28.] Tea Party Club 5th Anniversary with Juliette et Justine

Good evening my dear readers (^-^)!

On the 8th of September, already exactly a month ago,
I headed to London to attend the lavish Juliette et Justine Tea Party.

To celebrate the Tea Party Club's 5th Anniversary,
Kyra (my former London housemate) managed to
host and organise an amazing event, held in the Charing Cross Hotel!

Special guests came to London, straight from Japan!

~•*Mari Nakamura*•~
Head designer of Juliette et Justine

~•*Mariko Suzuki*•~
Editor of The Gothic & Lolita Bible magazine
Former editor of KERA Maniax magazine

~•*Akira Tanaka*•~
Hair & make-up artist from Tony's Collection INC.

 ~•*Koitsukihime*•~
Japanese doll artist

The day started with early entry for VIPs (me).
We were allowed to browse around early and start buying things!
However, I was good and didn't buy anything until the end!

There were various different stalls on one side of the room
and the whole other side was packed with the most beautiful
Juliette et Justine dresses, skirts, blouses and accessories.

We had about half an hour before they let in people with
general admission tickets. After everyone had some browsing time,
we got called into a different room as the Q&A Panel was about to start!

From left to right: Akira Tanaka, Mariko Suzuki, Mari Nakamura & Koitsukihime

How cute is Mari Nakamura? Such a sweet smile!
I remember one question being asked by the panel to the public.
"How long did it take you to get ready this morning?"
Answers ranged from 48 hours(!) to 10 minutes!
For me, I think it took about 30 minutes, because
I already prepared what to wear the evening before :3

After the Q&A panel, there was a mini-raffle and then we got some
free time for lunch. There was also an option to go on a scavenger hunt,
but I was too hungry :3

Once we got back from lunch, the fashion show started!
My fellow blogger & friend Florrie took some amazing photos.
Mine turned out awful, so please look at hers!

Then we had a little bit of free time again,
while the organisers were busy preparing the main-raffle.
I took this opportunity to spend some £££ ^-^!

I bought this beautiful JSK from Juliette et Justine.
It's called "La danse de la dame".

And I also bought this beautiful key hair clip from Now Voyager!
Felicity always finds the most amazing things, you should check out her shop!

After I had finished spending all my £££ we got called to a different room.
Mari Nakamura and Mariko Suzuki were taking photos of us
and taking our questionnaire that we had to fill out. Then they told me
I looked beautiful and they gave me an autograph (*__*)!

Once I recovered from being star struck main-raffle was starting, yay!
I won a beautiful chocolate coloured bow from Juliette et Justine themselves!

When the main-raffle finished we witnessed a beautiful wedding proposal!
Not a single eye in the room stayed dry!
A massive congratulations to Kyra & Dom <3

After we dried our tears we took a massive group picture.
You can't see me in it properly as I'm in the very back...
You can see my hair accessories, so I'm going to count myself in!
I'm at the left yellow curtain, look for a little green & red spot of hair accessory XD
