[37.] Sooo... I got a tattoo ♡

Hello dear readers (^-^)

So... yeah!

A few weeks ago I started a tattoo D:

It was very spontaneous decision, but I've wanted one for a long time.

3 weeks ago, I went to my first appointment.

My friend Ellie is a tattoo artist and did the honours (^-^)!

I've admired her work for a long time.

The stencil on! A bit blurry and with my awful tan :3

 So here I am, in the shop in London.

The stencil is on me!

Finished the first session like this!

 After 5 hours, we finished the first session like this.

I was kinda glad we stopped here, as I had enough at this point!

Ellie is a really amazing tattoo artist.

She was making sure I was OK through the entire session.

She even has a sweetie jar on her workstation in case you're feeling weak!

Ellie's workstation is so colourful!

I think I also felt more comfortable with her doing my first tattoo,

because I already knew her! She was one of my crazy colleagues :3

I paid the whole tattoo up front and then arranged a 2nd session with Ellie.

I came back after 3 weeks so we could be certain the tattoo healed properly!

I love it so much ♡ Thank you, Ellie <3

It might not seem like it, but this tattoo has a lot of meaning to me.

It's a representation of my life and all the things I love.

I'm not going to go into too much detail, though!

[33.] A Day in Utrecht with my Dutchies

Hello, my dears!

Hope you're well <3

I've completely forgotten that I went on holiday :3

It was a while ago, but as you can tell by my archive,

I didn't have much motivation to write anything!

Utrecht, The Netherlands

(Shamefully late post, I know)

Utrecht - Such a beautiful city!

After a drive of an hour and a half, I eventually made it to Utrecht.

After getting lost a few times, trying to find a parking spot...

Damn roadworks everywhere...!

I met up with my lovely friends Marloes & Damiën for the day.

It was so much fun! We went to the Cathedral of Saint Martin, 

or as it is lovingly known by the locals: De Domtoren!

It's THE symbol of Utrecht.

The Cathedral tower is 112 meters high and 

it is the highest tower from the Middle Ages in The Netherlands.

It's also over 600 years old!

After walking around the Cathedral & looking at the beautiful stained glass,

we got a bit peckish and decided to have some tea & cake (obviously)!

The Cathedral had a little tea room which was surprisingly nice.

It looked out into the gardens where we went later on.

Traditional "Domkoek" on the left + a biscuit & Cinnamon tea <3

After lunch, we ventured out into the cold to see the gardens!

We couldn't help taking pictures as it's such a lovely place :3

It looks like Marloes is floating haha, no legs!

The 3 of us managed to squeeze into one picture :3

so I'm going to write my Outfit Rundown below!

After visiting the Cathedral, it was nearly time to go home already. 

However, we couldn't resist getting some Bubble Tea first!

Damiën is a total addict, it was his second one that day already!

Bubble Tea - Mine had a cute monkey on it!

Managed to get my tea fix as well, haha!

I always get my tea in a shop called Xenos.

One packet of 10 tea bags only cost about €0,50!

I do love a good bargain, haha :3

My tea tower - Melon, Oriental, Apple & Cinnamon, Vanilla, Raspberry, Cherry & Cranberry!

 Then it was sadly time to hit the road again!

I had a really great day and I'd like to 

thank Damiën & Marloes for making time for me.

[29.] Tea Time with the Bristolian ladies

Good evening, dear readers (^-^)!

On Saturday the 3rd of November, I went to have afternoon tea

with the local ladies of the Bristolian lands!

My housemate Hayley and I walked to the venue together.

It's so funny how English people always try not to look at you,

even though it's quite obvious that they can't help themselves XD

 Oh well, Hayley & I love shocking the locals and the tourists so it's fiiiine :3

We met up at Boston Tea Party, not far from our house.

They had reserved a table for us especially.

Naturally I ordered an 'Afternoon Tea' and shared it with Hayley,

and I chose Yunnan Rose tea as my actual drinking tea!

Super delicious scone with clotted cream & jam <3

Yunnan Rose tea with real rosebuds in it!

Soooo tasty! It was a bit too much, though!

I wrapped up the brownies in my napkin and took them home, haha ;)

Just remembered there was a slight dilemma with the tea spoons.

Hayley is portraying this wonderfully in the following photos:

Hayley: "Where are the spoons?!" Me: "There are no spoons!" Hayley: *sulk*

Jenny also took some photos (much better than my phone can),

so here is a delightful picture of me scoffing cake... 

Oh well, I'm always eating :3

Sometimes slightly less elegant, but at least I'm having fun?!

After the delicious meal, some of us decided to go for a walk.

We found this beautiful park that I didn't even know existed!

So beautiful, argh! I wish I took some more photos (>_<)"!

We managed to take a little incomplete, blurry group photo with the self-timer :3

which I received in the post on that actual morning!

[25.] The 30 Day Lolita Challenge, Day 6...

Good evening ^-^!

 Here's today's challenge!

30-Day Lolita Challenge.

Day 6 - 10 things you can't live without in lolita.

• Tights •

Any colour that goes with the outfit or nude tights.

They hold up my overknee socks better and I think it looks better cos I'm tall.

• Bag •

I carry around way too much stuff, so any bag is a must!

 Preferably one that matches the outfit ;)

• Make-up •

I hate to say this, but when I'm wearing lolita I want to look as perfect as possible.

And that also counts for my make-up. I wear a lot more when I'm wearing lolita...

• Overknee socks •

I love socks anyway, but because I'm tall I prefer overknee socks.

I never not wear overknee socks unless I have printed tights that work with the outfit.

• Jewellery •

It completes a perfect lolita outfit and I'm terrible at putting it on!

There are never enough accessories!

• Hair accessories •

I almost feel naked without having at least one thing on my head :3

Usually there's at least 2 or 3 things!

• Petticoat •

Unless I'm doing a casual coordination, I always wear a petticoat.

Obviously looking at which shape of petticoat suits which shape of dress.

• Friends •

I'd be very lonely without my lolita friends and dressing up wouldn't be as fun.

• Tea & Cake •

No lolita day would be complete without having at least one of these, hehe!

I do love a bit of sugar to sweeten my day even more :3

• Oxygen •

You need it to breathe, whether you're a lolita or not XD
